I live on a small suburban block in Southern Sydney, on which I try to grow as much food as I can.
I've always practiced organic gardening with composting, worm farming and green manuring and am wanting to learn more about permaculture in practice and how I can develop food gardens beyond just organic.
I also deliver short gardening workshops for schools and community groups.
    .
I heard this was a good place for learning and sharing of ideas :)

    Welcome Alicat,
You're doing great by building your soil with worms, compost, and green manures ... living soils are key to working "in concert with nature", a basic tenet of Permaculture. But you're right, there's so much more such as guilds, energy flows, food forests, and more.

Ask questions about specifics and/or concepts. We'd love to hear more about your gardens and plans/projects.

    Thanks Bill,
I'm fortunate to have access to a few established 'basic' permaculture systems via the schools where I provide workshops. All very interesting. Am looking forward to learning more about everything :). Will be sure to ask lots of specific questions as they arise. Thanks
