This is a technology that uses low carbon hydraulic water-driven vertical systems for the purpose of growing tropical vegetables in the tropics, vertically. This technology achieves a sustainable, green high tech farm with significant yields in production and mainly utilises less energy, water, and natural resources. The vertical farming system is called, “A-Go-Gro” technology. It utilises A-shaped towers to grow vegetables. The aluminium towers are rotated to ensure that there is a uniform distribution of light, irrigation for all the plants and good flow of air.

The rotation utilises the gravity water aided system hence there is no need to use electrical generators. The water required for powering the frames is first recycled and filtered before being returned to the plant to ensure a healthy plant. The farm utilises the organic wastes and they usually compost it and reuse. By using these methods of farming, there is a higher yield generation that is safe, fresh, high-quality and delicious compared to the traditional methods. The farm grows mainly large varieties of tropical vegetables that are healthier.

Cloud Mountain in Singapore utilises the garden by the bay system where it has three waterfront gardens which are Bay East Garden, Bay South Garden and Bay Central Garden. The largest of the three is the Bay South Garden consisting of 130 acres. The Gardens by the Bay are an integral contribution by the Singaporean government to help transform a garden in a city to a city in a garden. The aim of this statement is to raise the quality of the life in Singapore by enhancing the greenery and flora growth in the city.

The cloud forest is the highest but smallest in size ranging to 2.0acres. It has replicated the cool, moist conditions found in the tropical mountain regions. It is easily accessible by use of an elevator and all the visitors who come to see it are able to descend the mountain via a circular path where the waterfalls in the mountain provide a cool air. The mountain is mainly meant for growing vegetables and herbs like the peacock ferns, orchids, ferns and many others. This is the best place to see how farming can simply make you see as if you are dreaming. The forest is a man-made mountain with a climate controlled dome that maintains the cool, fresh and moist air.
