  1. Thank you for a wonderful movie. The information and message it contains is fantastic and inspiring. However, someone should go though it and check all the subtitles as there are a lot of quite bad errors in it.

  2. I was so moved by the process and integration of how are actions effect everything…and what a wonderful k on you all have done to share this so well with the world. I pray people watch.. and are as moved as I? Where can i purchase a copy? I want to show it everywhere!

  6. I’m sorry, but I just couldn’t make it past the 30 min point in this movie. I tried scrolling through, hoping it was just a blip of pseudoscience and white people ‘splaining native culture, but everywhere I landed it was more of the same. As a person who has been a student of anthropology, a wilderness guide and who has a license to practice medicine in the state of Oregon and does so every day, I found this movie lacking in many ways. Admittedly, I didn’t make it all the way through but I started to lose it watching the white guy mythologize native culture with the image of the bald eagle flying across the sky. Why is some guy who wrote a cookbook explaining how Native American societies behaved in the environment? When we hit leaky gut syndrome, I had to stop. There is a difference between actual science and the pseudoscience of naturopathy. I’m disappointed that this movie is on the same website with Paul Stamets’ recent presentation. I completely agree that our society is out of step with nature and am trying to learn more to do my part to save the planet. I don’t want to exclude anyone from the table who has that same goal. However, we do one another a disservice with spreading false information. We get movements such as the anti-vaxers who bring back measles and whooping cough into our communities. This is my plea to be more careful about the information that you post on this website.

    1. I had the same reaction. The whole Africa thing was, as far as I was concerned, irelevant. If the audience was intended to be fat, lazy, American and / or European consumers, Africa was an absurd beginning. I do not have the same credentials as you. However, throughout the movie I attempted to research each of the ‘experts’ only to be sorely disappointed to uncover that too many of them have their own ‘personal’ agendas – some without any real credentials other than life experience. Well, I have life experience and eat primarily whole foods (fruits and vegetables), but have not elimiated any singular food (save fast foods and artifical sweetners). My significant other has watched it twice and oohed and ahhed throughout. I am the purchaser and preparer of all foods consumed in this house, so these types of outbursts mean little to me.

    2. I agree with you, Stacey. I felt that this documentary was poorly edited and contained interviews with non-experts on a variety of subjects. As a nutritionist and pre-med student, I appreciate the disconnect that currently exists in our society between how our food is grown and the ultra-processed state it is usually in by the time it reaches our table, not to mention the pandemic consequences we are facing as a result. This documentary, however, felt both elitist and amateur–proof of the privileged nature of western culture. I whole-heartedly believe in the coexistence of allopathic and naturopathic medicines, when they are both practiced responsibly. Misinformation such as is presented in this video unfortunately does not help either fields of medicine, nor the field of nutrition.

  7. FANTABULOUS video. I design landscape projects, and home gardens and orchards for clients. this is a great video for me to have the opportunity of showing it to my list to assist you and your cause. Thanks for producing it.
