This year I have seen lots of growth on my tomatoes, capsicums, zucchini' and squash but very little yield. Has anyone else had this problem?

I haven't done anything different to previous years and I have rotated crops.

Yep me too its frustrating Tomatoes are going ok now but should be by the end of January .
Self sown pumpkins are massive but set nothing
Qld blues I planted have set well
Green cucs set a few then nothing
Apple cucs are just starting eaten our first tonight
Zuks are hopeless huge plants with nothing even hand pollination failed
Beginning to wonder whether we are getting semi sterile seeds .

I'm in Milang SA. Everyone here has had the same problems. I picked my first tomatoes today. That's at least a month later than normal. I've had cucumbers but my pumpkins haven't even had any flowers. this summer has had so much rain and a lot of cool weather. It has been great for the pasture for the sheep and horse. I definitely will not have to buy hay this season because with all the summer rain we have had the pasture has just kept growing. It's the same with everyone's paddocks they are all green which for the end of January in SA that is unheard of.

Yeah, the farmers around here have cut loads of hay, and it has mostly grown back. We haven't had so much rain but more overcast days and more humidity than normal.

We don't have many bees here , I must get my own hive I think , there are a few bees but being mallee scrub there are no big tree hollows that can house a big swarm so I guess they are very small colonies.
At the moment all the dryland teatree ( Melaleuca lanceolata ) is flowering and the bees we do have are sitting on them and of course the sunflowers (local weed) up and down the roadsides everywhere .
I have a lot of sunflowers here but thin them out to strategic positions .

Hi, I was just discussing the same thing with my wife last night, and, was wondering if I might be using too much nitrogen in the compost, however, my wife had heard that farmers and growers here in WA are having the exact same problem, lots of growth, lots of flowers, but the fruit is not setting, I cannot see the bees being the problem as they are prolific where we live
