    Hi !

Tagasaste seems such a good tree that i would like to plant some on my land and try to include them in my surroudings (mostly small paddocks for cows). Unfortunatly tagasaste seems hardy "only" to -9°C, and in my place (SW France) winter temps can go down -12°C and -15°C is not extraordinary.

Are someone aware of hardy strains of Tagasaste, or where i could find someone to sell seeds of trees in cold parts of Australia, hoping for some improved hardiness ?

    Regards from France

    Nicollas

I believe Tagasaste is native to the Canary Islands, so that would be the place to really look....perhaps at the highest elevations of it's native range.
