Two Free Places Available for Upcoming Earthworks Course (February, 2015, Tasmania)

Do you want to learn about Permaculture earthworks and water harvesting?

Tiger Hill Permaculture is offering two free placements for individuals in the local Tasmanian community for the upcoming Introduction to Earthworks course facilitated by David Spicer and held at Tiger Hill Farm in Tasmania on the 20th and 21st of February 2015. (You will arrive on the evening of 19th for course start the next day.)

What’s on offer

A two-day Intro to Earthworks training course, meals and accommodation (bed linen not included) with a value of$400. (Transport not included.)

How to be eligible

To be eligible, simply write an article describing your experiences, project or research within a Permaculture context to be posted here, on the PRI website. The subject matter is entirely up to you. Let us know what is happening out there with some great stories. Share your observations and learning curve with others. The PRI editor with then select the finalists for Paul and David to review and they will then decide a winner. The two best articles will be selected and published and the authors can then come and attend the course.

It’s all about sharing the skills and giving back to the community. We are only a fledgling project but it’s important to us to practice the ethics of Permaculture and provide opportunities to return the surplus.

What to include in your article

Your name and address (address not to be published), an article title, the article itself, including photos and/or sketches, any applicable references, etc.

Please email your article to education (at) permaculturenews.org with ‘Free Earthworks Course Placement’ in the subject line.

Note: Entries need to be submitted by December 31, 2014.
