Compost, compost, compost – YES!!! If you can, teach your neighbors to compost. If they are unwilling, ask for their green waste to use yourself. See if you can set up partnerships with neighborhood eateries to get their waste to compost. Every little bit helps!

This is should be very inspiring course because whatever we eat for sustainable quality life depend on pedological aspects. We need to atttache soil values to our farming practices that will give nutrional, medicinal, resilience and sovereignty. Therefore, I like the course and encourage conscious people with nature to participate.I wish I could join you but am from Malawi which is very far! I wish all the best!

This is exactly what David Holmgren was saying in his book “Permaculture-Principles and Pathways beyond Susteinability”, that the soil could take up a lot of the carbon from the atmosphere, while soaking up large quantities of water and holding the minerals needed for plant development. Really interesting talk, it put Holmgren’s ideas into perspective.
