Michelle Obama Begins Kitchen Garden on White House Lawn

And, word around the campfire is that the garden will be organic. You can see a garden plan here. It’s not exactly a food forest, but it’s a great start! Congratulations to all who lobbied the Obamas on this issue. Here’s hoping this little garden will bring the intended results – inspiring millions to do the same.

This may end up being the only garden if they pass the bill in the senate now that bans backyard gardens & farmers markets.
Yes im very happy this is getting done but i feel its just more smoke and mirrors. Being Native American living in the US i have zero faith in Government. All my faith is in the people of this nation. Ive been working on waking them up for 10 years now. I see big change but we still have a long way to go.
I have hope for all of us. But we cant wait for some leader to do things for us. We have to be the change we want to see in this world.
